Ali Burton - Practice Administrator
Ali grew up in the Austin area and has worked in the dermatology field since 2004. After finishing her undergraduate degree at Texas State University, Ali attended Texas Woman's University in Houston where she earned her Master's in Healthcare Administration in 2008. She enjoys working at Austin Dermatology Associates, where her goal is to make sure all patients have a positive experience.
Rosa Ghioc - Clinical Specialist
Rosa emigrated to the United States from Romania in 1986 and has been involved in dermatology since 1987 when she began working with Dr. Bobby Joe Kennedy. She is a multi-talented individual who was initially employed as an aesthetician. Because of her versatility and intellect, she has worked herself through every position and is now the office manager for Austin Dermatology Associates. She is a warm and caring person. Although she still performs cosmetic services she is invaluable at keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently. She and her husband, Cornell, who is also from Romania, have an adult daughter.
Becky Loya - Medical Assistant
Becky is a medical assistant at Austin Dermatology Associates with over ten years of experience in the medical field. She worked in family practice and occupational medicine before coming to work with Dr. Carrasco in 2009.
Debra Rodriguez - Billing Specialist
Debra moved to Austin in 1998. Since then she has been involved in billing for dermatology. Her talents include properly processing medical claims to the many and varied medical insurance companies. She is very knowledgeable about the various insurance companies' policies and is invaluable in assisting patients who are unsure of their medical coverage.
Kim Bandy - Medical Assistant
Kim was born in Virginia Beach, and has enjoyed living in Austin for the last 6 years. After working in the veterinary field for over 2 years, she has found a new home at ADA in November 2009. Kim is a graduate of St. Edward's University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know patients and making them feel comfortable.
Angie Pennington - Esthetician
Angie is a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Professional with additional training in the specific use of our equipment. Angie received her esthetician license February of 2006 and has performed thousands of laser procedures. She has completed Advanced Paramedical Training and maintains current knowledge related to all areas of her aesthetic practice.
